Where it publishes, which agents can run it and what it reads. Every tile links to a page that says how it connects and where the facts came from, and none claims more than the product does today.
What Paperboy works with
Publishing
Two direct connections, plus three ways in for everything else. Platform pages last checked against each vendor's docs on October 29, 2026.
Agents
One remote MCP server and one REST API. The setup for each client is copied from that client's own docs, with the date we read them.
Data
Logos are trademarks of their owners and appear only to show compatibility. Icons come from the Simple Icons set (CC0). Tools without a logo in that set get a text badge. This is a list of what works with Paperboy, not a list of customers.
At a glance
Seven ways in. Pick the one your stack already speaks.
| Way in | Works with | What you need | Docs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Direct connectionLive | WordPress, Ghost | A login key from the platform. Nothing to install. | Platform pages |
| Hosted blog | Any site that can link to a subdomain | One DNS record and a Blog link in your menu. | Platform pages |
| Paste-in prompt | Next.js, Astro, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit | A coding agent or AI builder that runs the prompt. | Platform pages |
| Signed webhook | Any https address you control | A receiver that checks the signature. | Webhook example |
| MCP serverLive | 39 AI clients | An API key. One command or one config entry. | MCP docs |
| REST APILive | Anything that can send HTTP | An API key. An OpenAPI file is published. | REST API docs |
| CLI | Terminals and CI | Open source. Not on npm yet. | CLI docs |
The CLI is open source and not on npm yet. Direct connections exist only where the code to post to that platform exists.
FAQ
WordPress, through its REST API, and Ghost, through its Admin API. Every other site uses a hosted blog on your subdomain, a signed webhook, or a prompt that builds a blog in your own code.
No. Each of those pages says what works instead and why. We list a connector only when the code to post to that platform exists.
39 clients have a page with the exact setup, each checked against its own docs. Any client that can reach a remote MCP server with a bearer header works, and the REST API covers the rest.
Google Search Console, read-only, and only if you connect it. It uses impressions and clicks to choose topics and to report results per article.
We use the CC0 Simple Icons set for logos. Where a brand is not in it, we show a text badge rather than redraw someone else's mark.
