Paperboy for Msty Studio
Run topic research, drafting and fact checks from a Msty Studio chat with Paperboy's tools.
Set up
You will add Paperboy to the Msty Studio Toolbox as an HTTP MCP server and enter the Authorization header in the Headers fields.
In Paperboy, open Settings and create an API key. It starts with pb_live_.
In Msty Studio, open the Toolbox and add a new MCP tool.
Select HTTP as the connection type.
Enter https://paperboyseo.com/mcp as the MCP Server URL.
Add an Authorization header with the value Bearer pb_live_YOUR_KEY in the Headers fields.
Save, then enable the tool in a chat and ask it to call get_sites.
Connection type: HTTP
MCP Server URL: https://paperboyseo.com/mcp
Headers:
Authorization: Bearer pb_live_YOUR_KEYReplace pb_live_YOUR_KEY with a key from Settings, API keys, and never commit it. The MCP docs list every client we cover.
How to tell it worked
Open a chat, enable the Paperboy tool, and ask it to call get_sites. A list of your sites means the connection and key work.
How to remove it
Open the Toolbox, find the Paperboy entry, and delete or disable it.
What you get
Eight tools, the same engine as the dashboard. Reads are free. A pack is $20 for 100 credits; see how credits work.
get_sitesLists your sites with plan, publishing method and whether Search Console is connected. Every other call starts from a site id.
suggest_topicsReturns the next articles to write, each with the search data that is the reason for it.
write_articleStarts a fact-checked article and returns an id at once. The run takes a few minutes. It does not publish unless you pass publish: true.
get_articleReturns the article's status, its fact-check verdict and every source. Poll it after write_article until it reads published or needs_review.
check_claimsFact checks any public URL or pasted Markdown and returns each cited claim with the sources it was compared against.
publish_articlePublishes an article that passed the fact check to the site's publishing target. It changes the live site, so the agent should ask first.
get_performanceSearch Console clicks, impressions and average position for a site, by day and by article.
get_queriesThe queries a site, or one article, appears for in Search Console. This is where page-two keywords show up.

Why
Msty Studio keeps MCP servers in its Toolbox. For a remote server you pick the HTTP connection type, which is Streamable HTTP, and fill in a URL plus any authentication and headers. Paperboy needs only the URL and one Authorization header.
Msty documents Streamable HTTP as the only remote transport, with SSE deprecated, which matches Paperboy's endpoint. If you use Studio Web, connect it to Studio Desktop first, because Toolbox features run through the desktop app.

Honest notes
Quirks of this client that can cost you an afternoon.
Msty Studio supports only Streamable HTTP for remote servers. Paperboy uses Streamable HTTP, so this is fine.
Studio Web needs to be connected to Studio Desktop through Remote Connections or Sidecar to use Toolbox features.
The key is stored in the tool settings, so avoid sharing exports of your Toolbox.
FAQ
Yes. The docs describe an HTTP connection type with an MCP Server URL, Authentication and Headers fields.
The docs say SSE is deprecated and Studio supports Streamable HTTP for remote servers. A local proxy such as mcp-remote is suggested for SSE servers.
Only when Studio Web is connected to Studio Desktop with Remote Connections or Sidecar, per the docs.
The docs fetched describe form fields (connection type HTTP, MCP Server URL, Authentication, Headers) and do not show a JSON import format, so this page gives form values.
The tools that read cost nothing. Suggesting topics costs 1 credit, writing a fact-checked article costs 12 credits (refunded if the run fails) and a fact check on its own costs 2 credits. A pack is $20 for 100 credits.
Only if you let it. write_article defaults to publish: false, so a finished article waits for a human, and the tool descriptions tell the agent to ask before publishing. You can also give the agent a read-only key.
