For web designers, small agencies and freelancers

Add SEO articles to your monthly retainer without writing them.

Paperboy researches, writes, fact-checks and publishes articles to your client's own website, and learns from their Google Search Console data what to write next. You set it up once per site.

No card needed. Paste one client's address and read the finished article before you pick a plan.

  • Clients can approve every article first
  • 20% off every site after your first
  • Cancel any site with one button

The problem

Why can’t I write SEO articles for every client?

Your clients keep asking for "SEO". Writing for 30 sites is not a job one person can do.

Most small business clients need steady, accurate articles on their own site. Doing that by hand across a client list eats the hours you would rather bill on design and builds.

Paperboy does the research and writing. You keep the client relationship.

How it works

How do I run it for each client?

One site at a time, and no new tools for the client to learn.

  1. 1

    Add a client site

Paste the address. Paperboy reads the site and drafts how it understands the business. You correct anything that is off.

  2. 2

    Connect Search Console

Paperboy uses the site's own Google Search Console data to find searches worth writing for, then keeps learning from what happens.

  3. 3

    Choose how it publishes

Straight to the site, or after the client approves.

  4. 4

    Read the weekly report

One email per site, so you can see what went out.

Control

Can my client approve every article?

Approve first, or let it run

Turn on approve-first and nothing is published until someone signs off. Use it for clients who want to read everything, then switch a site to automatic when they trust it.

Every site gets a weekly report email, so you always know what was published and what was held. Cancel any site with one button. No call, no email thread.

Works with the sites you already build

Paperboy publishes to a hosted blog on the client's custom domain, to WordPress, to Ghost, to a webhook, or as a prompt you paste into an AI site builder. Pick per site.

Pricing

What does it cost per client site?

Per-site pricing, with a discount for every extra site. Choose a plan per site, so a small client can sit on Starter while a busy one is on Growth.

Plans per site
PlanPer site, monthlyArticlesYearly
Starter$49/mo3 articles a week2 months free
Growth$99/mo1 article a day2 months free
Pro$179/mo2 articles a day2 months free

Worked example

5 client sites on Growth cost $415.80 a month.

That is $99 for the first site plus 4 more at $79.20, which is the usual 20% off. Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Every plan includes the fact check, all publishing methods, Search Console learning and the weekly report. How much you charge your client is up to you.

Agency

For 5 or more client sites on one account.

$79.20 a site a month on daily articles (Growth)

That is the usual 20 percent off every site after your first. Your first site is $99 a month. Starter and Pro sites get the same 20 percent off. Yearly billing gives two months free.

  • Each site has its own plan, Search Console connection, approve-first setting and weekly report
  • Cancel any site with one button

Trust

What if the article gets a fact wrong?

Every number has to be in the source it links to.

Before anything is published, Paperboy checks each claim against the source it cites. Articles that fail are held, not published. That matters when the site belongs to your client and your name is on the project.

The articles are written by software. We do not promise rankings or traffic. We promise a fact-checked article, published on a plan.

Beta month

Can I get a free month of daily articles?

We're giving 10 sites a free month of daily articles. The catch: we get to show your real Search Console numbers, good or bad. No card.

  • You connect Search Console, and we publish the before and after: impressions, clicks and articles published.
  • Your business stays unnamed (like "a plumbing company in Ohio") unless you tell us in writing that we can name it.
  • After 30 days you pick a plan or it stops. We never charge you automatically.

Questions

Agency questions, answered

What freelancers and small agencies ask before adding a client.

Want the plan details? See pricing.

Can I try it on a client before I pay?

Yes. Your first article is free, no card needed. Paste one client's address and read the finished article.

Do my clients have to approve articles?

No. It is an option. Turn on approve-first per site if you or the client want to review each article.

What does the client get to see?

The published articles on their own site. The weekly report email goes to the email on your account, one per site, so you can forward it to the client if you want to.

Where does it publish?

Hosted blog on a custom domain, WordPress, Ghost, a webhook, or a prompt for an AI site builder.

What if the client leaves?

Cancel that site with one button. Articles keep publishing until the end of the period you paid for, and articles already published stay.

Will this get my client to page one?

We can't promise that, and nobody honest can. Paperboy publishes accurate, fact-checked articles on a steady schedule, based on what the site's own Search Console data shows.

Is the writing generic?

Each article is researched from real sources for that business and checked claim by claim. Judge it yourself on the free one.

How much should I charge my client?

That is up to you. Paperboy bills you per site, and you decide what the articles are worth inside your own retainer.

Try it on one client site

Your first article is free. No card. If it reads well, add the site to a plan.

You pick a plan only after you have read it.
