Paperboy for Ghost
Paperboy posts every article that passes its fact check straight to Ghost. No plugin, no copy and paste, and the first article is free.
Direct connectionDirect connection (Ghost Admin API)
Short answer as of October 29, 2026
Yes: as of October 29, 2026, Paperboy publishes to Ghost through the Admin API with a custom integration key, and sets the meta title, meta description and structured data on each post. The first article is free.
Set up
How it connects: Direct connection (Ghost Admin API).
In Ghost Admin, open Settings, then Integrations, and add a custom integration named Paperboy.
Copy its Admin API key. It has two parts separated by a colon. Do not use the Content API key; it cannot write posts.
In Paperboy, open Publishing for your site, choose Ghost, and enter your Ghost address and the Admin API key.
Paperboy signs a short-lived token from the key and asks Ghost for your site's details. If Ghost answers, you see the site name. If not, you get a message about the key or the address.
Pick autopilot or approval, then write your first article.

What you get
What lands on your site, every time an article passes its fact check.
A published Ghost post with the title, slug, a custom excerpt (the first 300 characters of the article excerpt), a meta title and a meta description.
The article HTML followed by the FAQ section, sent as HTML so Ghost converts it to its own format.
The Article and FAQPage JSON-LD, placed in the post's code injection for the head, so it ships in the page head rather than the body.
Later rewrites update the same Ghost post by ID.
Two to four links to your own pages (picked from the pages Paperboy read on your site) and one call to action link to the address you chose.
No images inside the article body today. The hosted blog adds a 1200 by 630 share image for each article; other methods do not.
Honest limits
What Paperboy does not do here, so there are no surprises after you sign up.
Paperboy does not set tags, authors or a feature image. Add them in Ghost.
Posts are sent as published, not as drafts. If you want to read first, turn on approval mode and Paperboy holds the article before it sends anything.
Code injection for individual posts depends on your Ghost setup. Check the page source after the first post to see the JSON-LD.
Paperboy calls the Admin API with the v5.0 version header and a short-lived token signed from your key. You never share your Ghost login.

Yes. Each post gets a meta title and meta description of its own, plus the Article and FAQPage JSON-LD in the post's head code injection.
Yes, but a later Paperboy rewrite of the same article replaces your edits, because it updates the post by ID. Edit a copy if you want to keep changes.
It needs your site address and an Admin API key, which both have. Paperboy does not care where Ghost runs as long as the address is public.
No. Set tags and the author in Ghost after the post appears.
