Paperboy for Squarespace
Paperboy has no Squarespace connector, so it runs your blog on a subdomain you point at it with one DNS record. The first article is free.
Hosted blogHosted blog on a subdomain
Short answer as of October 29, 2026
Not into Squarespace itself: as of October 29, 2026, Paperboy has no Squarespace connector, and Squarespace's developer site lists Commerce APIs, an MCP server for domains and commerce, reseller APIs and custom code, but we did not find a documented way to create blog posts. The working route is a hosted blog on a subdomain of your domain.
Set up
How it connects: Hosted blog on a subdomain.
Paste your site address into Paperboy and get the first article free. You read it before you pick a plan.
In the site's Publishing settings, choose "We host your blog" and type the address you want, such as blog.yourdomain.com.
Add the CNAME record Paperboy shows you. If your domain's DNS is managed in Squarespace, add it under the domain's DNS settings there; if your registrar or Cloudflare manages it, add it there.
Press "Check my DNS record". When it passes, the blog is live on your address, with a sitemap and an RSS feed. Until then it sits at a Paperboy address.
In Squarespace, add a Blog link to your navigation with the new address as an external link.
Type CNAME
Name blog (for blog.yourdomain.com)
Value the target Paperboy shows you
Then press "Check my DNS record" in Paperboy.Paperboy shows the exact values in your dashboard. Nothing here is a real key.
What you get
What lands on your site, every time an article passes its fact check.
The article body as HTML: an H2 and H3 outline, tables or numbered steps where they make the answer easier to scan, and inline links to the sources it cites.
Server-rendered pages on your own subdomain, with a canonical address, a sitemap.xml and an rss.xml at the blog's root.
Your brand color and logo, read from your site when Paperboy scanned it. Article pages carry a link back to your main site.
A short FAQ of three to six questions, written into the page, plus Article and FAQPage JSON-LD.
Two to four links to your own pages (picked from the pages Paperboy read on your site) and one call to action link to the address you chose.
No images inside the article body today. The hosted blog adds a 1200 by 630 share image for each article; other methods do not.
Nothing is written into your Squarespace blog or pages.
Honest limits
What Paperboy does not do here, so there are no surprises after you sign up.
This is the only automatic route today. We found no documented Squarespace API for creating blog posts, so even a webhook relay has nowhere to write. If Squarespace adds one, this page will change.
The posts live on a subdomain, not inside your Squarespace blog page. Your existing Squarespace posts stay where they are.
The hosted blog uses your logo and brand color on Paperboy's own layout, not your Squarespace template.
Copy and paste works as a manual fallback: open an article in Paperboy and paste the text into a Squarespace post yourself. That is not automatic.

A webhook needs somewhere to write. Without a documented blog API on the Squarespace side, the hosted blog is the practical route.
