Paperboy for Lindy
Give a Lindy agent Paperboy's tools and let it message you the five best page-two queries every Monday.
Set up
You will add Paperboy from the Integrations page as an MCP server and send your key as a bearer token.
In Lindy go to Integrations, click + Add, and choose MCP (not Integration, which is for built-in tools).
In Connect MCP server, paste https://paperboyseo.com/mcp into Server URL and set the Display name to Paperboy.
Open Advanced and send pb_live_YOUR_KEY as an Authorization bearer token.
Click Connect. The server appears in your list with its host and tool counts.
Open the server from Integrations. Under Actions, switch off any tool you do not want, and choose a Guardrails setting (Always allow or Ask for approval).
Server URL: https://paperboyseo.com/mcp
Display name: Paperboy
Advanced > Authorization bearer token: pb_live_YOUR_KEY
(click Connect)Replace pb_live_YOUR_KEY with a key from Settings, API keys, and never commit it. The MCP docs list every client we cover.
How to tell it worked
The Paperboy server appears in Integrations with two numbers: tools the server reports and tools available in Lindy. You should see Paperboy's eight tools. Zero available means the endpoint is wrong, the catalog is empty, or no tool definitions are compatible.
How to remove it
Open the server from Integrations and use the ... menu on the connection chip to rename or remove that connection.
What you get
Eight tools, the same engine as the dashboard. Reads are free. A pack is $20 for 100 credits; see how credits work.
get_sitesLists your sites with plan, publishing method and whether Search Console is connected. Every other call starts from a site id.
suggest_topicsReturns the next articles to write, each with the search data that is the reason for it.
write_articleStarts a fact-checked article and returns an id at once. The run takes a few minutes. It does not publish unless you pass publish: true.
get_articleReturns the article's status, its fact-check verdict and every source. Poll it after write_article until it reads published or needs_review.
check_claimsFact checks any public URL or pasted Markdown and returns each cited claim with the sources it was compared against.
publish_articlePublishes an article that passed the fact check to the site's publishing target. It changes the live site, so the agent should ask first.
get_performanceSearch Console clicks, impressions and average position for a site, by day and by article.
get_queriesThe queries a site, or one article, appears for in Search Console. This is where page-two keywords show up.

Plain requests. The tools each one uses are listed under it.

Why
Lindy connects to hosted MCP servers that have a public HTTPS streamable endpoint, and a static key goes in as an Authorization bearer token under Advanced. It is one form and no JSON.
Every tool arrives switched on. Open Actions and turn off write_article and publish_article if you want Lindy to read only. A new connection starts as Only you, so set its availability to your workspace to share it. Only the owner can reconnect the credential when you rotate the key.

Honest notes
Quirks of this client that can cost you an afternoon.
Every supported tool arrives switched on. Open Actions and turn off write_article and publish_article if you only want Lindy to read; Disable all clears the list in one click so you can enable just what you need.
Guardrails (Always allow or Ask for approval) are personal and override the workspace default. The docs describe them as a setting for the server, plus a separate on/off toggle per tool, not per-tool approval.
A new connection starts as Only you. Set Availability to Your workspace to share the tools with teammates; only the connection owner can share it or reconnect the credential, so key rotation means you reconnect it yourself.
FAQ
Yes. Lindy connects to hosted servers with a public HTTPS streamable-HTTP endpoint, and under Advanced you can send a static credential as an Authorization bearer token, a custom header or a query parameter.
Lindy creates an action for every tool whose schema it supports. The two counts differ when a server publishes tools Lindy cannot use. If the available count is zero, check the URL, the catalog and the tool definitions.
Only after you set Availability to Your workspace. Every new connection starts as Only you, and workspace owners and admins can revoke sharing but cannot grant it or reconnect your credential.
The docs say Lindy can use a saved credential when it runs shell commands and code. Add one under Settings, then Credentials (under Workspace), with Add credential, and name it something like PAPERBOY_API_KEY. MCP is the simpler route for Paperboy.
The tools that read cost nothing. Suggesting topics costs 1 credit, writing a fact-checked article costs 12 credits (refunded if the run fails) and a fact check on its own costs 2 credits. A pack is $20 for 100 credits.
Only if you let it. write_article defaults to publish: false, so a finished article waits for a human, and the tool descriptions tell the agent to ask before publishing. You can also give the agent a read-only key.
