How much do API credits cost?

When do I get credits back?

  • An article that fails because of an error on our side, or stops at its cost cap, gives its credits back automatically.
  • An article the fact check holds back keeps its charge. The work was done, and you get the draft and the verdict.
  • A fact check or topic call that errors gives its credits back.
  • Sending the same Idempotency-Key twice charges once.

How do I buy more?

On Settings, API keys. Pick 1 to 50 packs. Payment is a one-time Stripe checkout. The balance and every charge show on that page and in GET /api/v1/usage.
